Overview

Created as a final for Production 101, this short was one of my first narrative shorts. It was a great opportunity to write, direct, shoot, and edit a fictional pieces start to finish. The guidelines for this project prohibited the use sync dialog, which is why we choose a narrative based on music. Another guideline forced us to edit in Premiere Pro, so I became comfortable with a full color grading workflow outside of DaVinci Resolve.

Production

• Shot on Sony A7SIII in S-Log3
• Lit with Arrilite 750s
• Edited and graded in Premiere Pro
• Audio repaired in iZotope RX 10
